About Haste Contracting
Family-owned earthworks and machinery hire, based in Mandurah.
Who we are
Small crew. Proper gear.
Haste Contracting is a small, family-owned and operated earthworks and machinery-hire business servicing Perth, the Peel region and the South West of Western Australia.
Based in Mandurah, we specialise in residential, rural and small-scale commercial projects. Our capabilities include earthworks, civil construction, site preparation, driveways and hardstands, retaining walls, drainage, landscaping, demolition, material supply and transport.
Our modern, well-maintained earthmoving equipment and attachments are also available for hire, always with one of our operators: everything we hire out is wet hire.
Our fleet: excavators, a wheel loader, skid steers and posi-tracks, a roller, a water cart, tipper trucks and a truck-and-dog trailer for the big loads, with a broad selection of attachments. Anything a job needs that we do not own, we hire in.
Meet the founder
Who's behind Haste?
Haste Contracting was founded by Liam in July 2024, but the story started well before then.
A heavy-duty diesel mechanic by trade, Liam spent years working FIFO. During his breaks, he renovated and flipped houses, while weekends were often spent helping mates with their own renovations. What began as a practical way to lend a hand quickly developed into a genuine passion for helping people improve their properties and bring their ideas to life.
Then came the first digger. One machine led to more jobs, more equipment and a much bigger vision. Today, Haste has grown into a capable, owner-operated business with a growing fleet, its own workshop and yard, and the equipment to deliver earthworks, landscaping, demolition, transport and wet-hire services.
Liam remains hands-on across every part of the business. His mechanical background, practical problem-solving and commitment to doing the job properly remain at the heart of Haste—straightforward service, reliable equipment and quality work clients can trust.
It started with one digger. Today, it’s a growing fleet built around helping people get their projects done properly.
